Over £3000 Raised for HomeStart Glasgow North

Slanj were involved heavily in the kiltwalk again this year, supplying over 100 free kilt hires to participants. This helped contribute to the most successful Glasgow Kiltwalk yet.

Some of our staff were participants in the Kiltwalk itself and raising over 2.5K on the day.

The final HomeStart Glasgow North total for the Glasgow Kiltwalk was £3016.65.

Slanj are proud to have made a significant contribution to this from the sponsor money collected and the donations bucket in our Bath Street shop.

A big thank you to all the sponsors, who showed great generosity, well done to the participants especially to Ross and Steven for braving the ‘Mighty Stride’ and to young Kate & Vaila for giving it their all in the heat of the day.

Thanks also to The Hunter Foundation for the 40% top-up. Some people may not know that the foundation donates a massive 40% of what you raise for to your chosen charity if you do the Kiltwalk. So, perhaps that will encourage you to participate next year to make it another record-breaking one.
