Face Masks in Aid of SAMH Charity
SAMH work with adults and young people across Scotland providing mental health social care support, services in primary care, schools and further education, among others.
These services together with their national programme work (See Me, respectme, suicide prevention and active living) helps to influence positive social change for mental illnesses.
Slanj have decided to donate 15% from the sale of a range of tartan masks. These are SAMH tartan, Capaldi tartan and the Lucky Jocks football tartan range through our partner website Lucky Jocks.
The reason for including football team tartans is because of the SAMH initiative ‘The Changing Room’. This brings together men in their middle years (aged 30-64) who have a common love of football.
The Changing Room has one goal – to promote men’s mental health and wellbeing through the power of the beautiful game. It has been running at Hibernian and Hearts Football Clubs since 2017, and has received further funding to allow it to scale up across the country.
